Does anyone know why a rework batch order does not allow operations or job scheduling at the "estimated" status.
These options are normally available when a production/batch order is estimated but when the order is flagged as rework they are disabled until order is "released". If flag changed on order (via table) the options enable.
I'm sure we can work around this but would like to know the logic behind it. Only thing I can think of is that a rework is expected to be unplanned rather than planned so scheduling is not seen as applicable until the job is flagged as with the production floor but it would be best to make sure capacity exists on the resource for the rework before releasing in many instances even when process is rework.
