Hey Everyone,
On the contact record we can go to related dropdown and go to opportunities tab and from there create a related opportunity record that auto populates some fields through its 1:N relationship.
I wanted to know if we can move that "New Opportunity" button to the contact main form's command bar.

This is not possible out of the box. You need to extend the command bar of the contact.

On the ribbon workbench of contact or any entity, buttons are only related to that entity.
Ideally, you should not add buttons that are related to child entity on the parent entity ribbon.
However, if you still want it then you can add a new button on main contact form and on click of that button register one javascript where you need to call a function inside which you would need to use the openform function to open a new opportunity form and set the lookup value of contact so that the opportunity and the contact records would be related, you can refer this link to know more on openform function.
