I've 4 questions please:

  1. How to limit multiple choice questions
For example: if we've A, B, C & D as multiple choices in question 1 & the respondent selected A & B. How to create question 2 with only the rest of the choices (C & D) in question 1?

  2. Can I create a question with 2 types as text & single choice?
For example: I want to create a question asking about the age & keep it as an open ended question. Hence, I'll select the variable type as text so the respondent can type his age, but is there any way to add another option which is "refused to answer" as you can see below:

    Q) How old are you?
    A)  ........... "Text"
         Refused to answer "Single coded"

  3. To use the simple logic, I must delete the advanced logic that I've created.
    Can't I use both together?

  4. Can I change the variable type without deleting the question & creating a new one?

Thanks in advance.

    RE: Types of the questions

    Wrt point 4

Variables use spans across the entire document : their life is not "chained" to a specific question

Wrt point 1, I think You have to take a look at the way branching and conditional logic works and rethink the design of the question

    RE: Types of the questions

    I'll start with Point 2 :

The best I can think about it

You start with a  question of type Choice

1st Option is "I prefer not to answer"

2nd Option is ... You activate "Other"

In the question, or subtitle, you will have to give instructions

and you have no chance to verify the text content
