Hi All,
I got the error "There was an error reading from the pipe: The pipe has been ended" while fetching items data from GP using eConnect services (eConnect Query).
Is there any Configuration level settings ?. If yes, Please let me know the path
Thanks in advanced,
Pavan.
I’ve come across this error quite a few times lately when working on an application that uses named pipes as the transport layer for WCF services and found some useful pointers that might help others to fix similar issues with their services UPSers
Hi Derek,
I have verified eConnect service account is a member o DYNGRP database and verified the remaining permissions what you have mentioned.
But still facing same issue.
any idea ?.
Thanks,
Pavan
Have you verified that the eConnect service account is a member of the DYNGRP database role for the system and company databases for Dynamics GP, which would give the account permissions to execute the stored procedures in these GP databases which is what eConnect primarily uses.
Otherwise, we may need to know how you're running eConnect, like through a application such as SmartConnect or a custom application?
Any configuration settings would be mentioned in the install/admin guide for eConnect, so I'd recommend going over that again.
Thanks
