The value "SHOULD( SHOULD)" is not found in the map.

Posted on by 350

At some point, the following error occurs:

[The value "SHOULD( SHOULD)" is not found in the map.]

Select an item, and press the Translations button to generate an error.

I deleted the AUC file local, but I still have the same error. (Shut down only clients. AOS does not stop.)

    thank.

    I solved this problem myself.

    The cause of this problem was the value of garbage in EcoResProductTranslation.

    EcoResProductTranslation.LanguageId = "SHOULD"

    EcoResProductTranslation.LanguageId = "5.5"

    I think the customer uploaded the wrong DMF.

    Hi Dongwoon,

    From the error message, this kind of error would appear when the code is trying to get a value from the map with the key which does not exist in the map. Debugging would be power enough for us to get the cause of this kind of issue. Please help to engage a technical guy from your side to investigate the issue further.

    Best Regards,

    Austin Shen

    Debugging is the process of finding and removing bugs. Which is what you want to do, isn't it?

    And the debugger is one of the most powerful tools you have. Giving up the debugger means making any debugging efforts twenty times more difficult. It's not in your interest...

    If you want our help with the error "before executing menu item", please give us at least some information about it.

    Or, if you still mean the message in Watch 3, do you want to explain in more details what Watch tabs are and why it's not related to any error at runtime?

    It's no use trying debugging.

    Debugging causes an error even before running the menu item.

    Error occurs even before executing menu item.

    These messages are not related to your problem at all.

    It means that you've added some variable names to the Watch tab in the debugger, but such variables don't exist in the currently displayed code, therefore the debugger can't show values of these non-existing variables.

    The error message below appears.

    NAME:
     inventDimParm.WMSLocationIdFlag
    VALUE:
     Error: Symbol "inventDimParm" was not found
    TYPE:

    Can't you debug the code to see what exactly is happening?

    RE: AX2012 Error) The value "SHOULD( SHOULD)" is not found in the map.

    If you have a question about AX 2012, please ask in the Dynamics AX forum and choose AX 2012 as the version, instead of asking in D365FO forum and prefixing the title with AX2012. Let me fix it for you this time.
