Is there functionality that enable the end-user to open up multiple articles at a time in KB Articles and KB Search View of Knowledge Management?

When you search articles in the KB Search, results will be listed in the left pane:
Each article has a "pop-up" icon in the top right corner, click on it to open a new tab in your browser to display the article:
If you want to show multiple articles in the right pane of the kb search page, it's impossible, which is by-design.
Is it possible to open multiple articles at the same time in the KB Article and KB Search View sections of Knowledge Management?
