Hi,
I created an e-mail altert for "work items assigned to me" to be notified whenever a record has been created for my user.
This is what the alert looks like.
The problem is that I receive an e-mail notification whenever a user in any of the legal entities create a new work item.
How do I solve this issue?

On the same form there is a toggle box named "Organization wide" - Try setting that toggle box to No and check.

Unfortunately this suggestion did not work. I still receive notifications for all users in the company. Anyone who knows how to solve this?
"Work items" table is a global table. Means "WorkflowWorkItem" table has "SaveDataPerCompany" to No which means it will have all the data's irrespective of the legal entities. Because of that I guess it's not taking legal entity as consideration when sending emails.
Ok, but how can I activate an alert for "work items assigned to me" and only receive notifications for relevant work items?
If you want to send a Notification whenever a work item assigned to you - You can make use of Notification option on the user options.
Go to Common >> Setup >> User options >> Select Workflow >> Under Notification >> You can make the Send notification in email to yes.
I never tested this, but you can check that.
