AX2009 with Domain and forest level 2016

Hi,

A customer of mine asked me if it will cause any problems if they raise the AD domain and forest level to 2016 regarding their AX 2009 or AX 2012 systems?

Anyone knows if its supported or not?

AX server components are supported on designated Windows Server editions, if I’m not incorrect AX 2009 is supported from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 R2.

If those editions of windows server are compatible with an AD of level 2016, you should be fine in AX. I’m not aware if Windows 2008 is compatible with an AD of 2016.
