Production Order remaining status Material Consumption

Posted on by 131

Some one has changed the status of the Production order to started after the Report as finished

due to which the status of the PRD changed to Material Consumption.

One thing more the item on hand quantities have been increased through the same PRD and also transferred to the other ware house, so can any one guide me how could I resolved this issue.

It is not so clear what you expect as a solution? Putting the order back to 'Report as finish' or correct the inventory transactions for the finished good?

If order was already reported as finished, system would give an error on resetting to status 'Started' and system cannot find an inventory to revert. Current status 'Material Consumption' means that, material consumption was also reserved when resetting the status to 'Started'  which needs to be consumed again. You need to bring the inventory back to original warehouse where it was reported as finished if you want to reset the status to 'Started'.
