Dynamics CRM - Can't generate unique contacts report who have cases

My app has Contacts and Cases.

I'm generating report to show all Contacts who had cases created in Cases Entity. I can created a custom view(this has duplicate cases for Contacts because it should work that way).

When I try to create a report using the above custom view, I still get those duplicate records which is obvious.

How can I create a custom view or Report with unique contacts?

your help is highly appreciated.

    Can you tell me in which entity you have created view ? Contact or case ?

    I have created view for Cases and able show Contacts.

    I can't create a view for Contacts which have Cases(with/without any filter condition).
