Select only a few members of a segment when using "Send Now" in email

Hello,

I want to send an email without building a journey, so I use the /Send/ button from my email (in real time marketing). I am able to select a segment, and then the system lets me preview it and select members from the segment.

Is it normal that the email is always sent to all members of the segment, even if I only select a few of them ? If yes, what is the point of selecting members ?

Hi,

This is a normal expected behavior, and it occurred in my testing.
Selecting members is a secondary check to see if all the contacts in the segment are target contacts.
