How to cancel/delete rejected item from line review workflow for PR/PO? AX 2012 R2

Hii,

We have activated a Line Review Workflow for purchase requisitions. Mostly our PR contains up to 50 lines and approval from four managers and different approval for inventory and service items. Modifying rejected item and submitting PR for approving again is very time consuming.

In Line Review Workflow if one item is rejected and others approved, even then PR header status remains In review.

If we press Cancel button on rejected item, I didn't see anything happen. What is the use of Cancel button?

Question: How we can delete rejected item and release PR to PO? Can we do it by customization and where?

Please guide with best practices.

    HI Rana,

    Standard AX will not allow you to remove or delete PR line once submitted to workflow with status approved or rejected. This will effect your audit trail and traceability.

    However if this is must to do in your case, you can use Procurement and sourcing->Periodic->Clean up->Delete request for quotations. this is for RFQ, you can tweak this class PurchRFQcleanup Version AX 2012 R3 CU12 and add Purchreqtable and lines with appropriate status. Simulate this in your test environment before you move to production.
