Outlook 2015/Dynamics 2011

Posted on by 5

Windows 10 user is trying to open Households in dynamics via the Outlook client, and the records are displaying in the same window, but the user wants the records to open in it's own separate window.

Would you be able to specify which version of Dynamics Outlook client the user has installed?  I see in the title is Outlook 2015 but wanted to make sure.

Thank you for your response, but there is a way to achieve this approach. I can open the record in a new window by double-clicking the record, and that opens in a new window. It's one of our users that aren't having such luck.

Thank you for using the Dynamics communities.  I believe this is expected behavior when clicking on a entity within the Dynamics Outlook client.  Once you click on a record it will open in a new window.  Unfortunately, the application doesn't have the ability to be customized in that way.
