    Hello Mariano,

Appreciate for your comments too.  I was worried about Dynamics GP as Microsoft is mostly promoting Dynamics 365 and Dynamics Ax.

Anyhow, you both have clear all my doubts

    Thanks Much

Derek provided some compelling arguments to your concerns.

The main one I want to point out is, each new release of GP adds 10 more years to the life expectancy of the application. Also, keep in mind that customers do not switch ERPs that easily. ERP systems are mission critical nowadays and they are expensive to replace. Customers sink a lot of money into their ERP implementations and cannot fathom to do so every few years. So long customers continue to demand new features and/or critical fixes then this product will be around for a while.

You also have a wealth of ISV products in this market. These are companies whose livelihood depend on Microsoft Dynamics GP being around. I don't think any of us ISVs are simply going to drop our products anytime soon either.

Dynamics GP isn't going anywhere, if that is your main question.

We're obligated to support Dynamics GP 2018 until Jan, 2028, GP 2016 until July 2026, GP 2015 until April 2025 and GP 2013 until April 2023, so support will be there as mentioned in the Dynamics GP lifecycle information you can find online:

    community.dynamics.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-gp-2018-r2-and-year-end-update-lifecycle-and-upgrade-services

We've just released R2 for Dynamics GP 2018 and the year-end updates for all supported GP versions are releasing during this time of year....

We're also planning our next Dynamics GP release with features next year, which we should have more out in January on this next release, so keep an eye out for that.

If you don't already do so, keep an eye on our Dynamics GP blog site, community.dynamics.com/gp, as this is where the majority of our information goes, including new releases, new features and all other information that we work to share with the public to help grow everyone's knowledge base.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.

    Thanks
