Hi,

When moving security role permission change solutions from lower environments to production (unmanaged -> managed), changes do not carry over and must be manually re-configured again in the prod environment. Is there any best practices to work around this?

Could it be that this is caused by an unmanaged layer that is on your security role?

Since Unmanaged layers are on top of you managed layers and therefore could cause the behavior you are describing.
