Maximum lines on Trade agreement

I have read a few Microsoft documents about trade agreements and none of them specified this ask:
"What is the maximum number of lines allowed on a trade agreement journal?"

The client is asking for cases where almost 2,000 lines are needed on the journal so that it's done for a single vendor.

For entering lines there is no limit , however as count increases, journal posting time also increases. I haven't tried trade agreements but a normal General journal with more approximately 50K line takes several hours. Again that is something you should avoid and split lines in to multiple journals as Satish already mentioned.

Hi Omar,

Haven't heard of any limit on journal lines. However you may face longer posting times on journals as line grows. We have seen circumstances where journals were split to post journals faster (It helps in deletion too incase it got created wrong).

You should try to create a journal and see how long does it take to post the journal, also try deleting unposted journal to see how long does it take to delete the journal. Then make an educated decision.
