Hi I am creating a wizard in which I have to use a rich text editor in my wizard as shown in figure

It is not necessary to use the above but in any case can I use a rich text editor and not a normal HTML control?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Muhammad,

What is in your question the difference betwee a rich text editor and a HTML control? A default control is supported out of the box. See: docs.microsoft.com/.../new-html-editor-control

If you need another editor, you have to wrap a web component in a custom control: docs.microsoft.com/.../build-extensible-control

Thanks André for clearing the concept also please tell me that when I am using OOB HTML editor as my form control it is not showing anything but when I am doing the same work on another server text editor is appearing, what could be the possible reason for it? Am I missing any reference

    Hi Muhammad,

Do you you intend to say that the HTML editor is not working on one development environment and on another it is working correctly?

Have you validated if the feature for the new HTML editor control is enabled or disabled in both environments? Can you share some screenshots?

    Hi Muhammad,

What are the differences between these environments? Are they both on the same application version? They don't look similar when I look at the title bar. How was this HTML editor added? Via a customization on both environments or did you install a deployable package?

Please provide some more information. On the most recent versions, the standard HTML editor provided by Microsoft is working as expected.
