Product Codification for Apparel and textile

Dear All,

I want to learn product codification for Apparel and textile industry. Can anyone please send some example for product codification e.g: Item name, Customer name, Size, Dimension, Structure ID, Attribute ID etc. It will be very much helpful for me because i am new in AX.

    Hi Roonyxxe,

    I think coding of the product is more related to the business and internal procedures. It is not AX specific. I don't get your question.

    Thanks For your quick reply,

    Yes we know that it is a business procedure. In my company we are a manufacture for ready made ready made garments for men, women and children. Our raw material need  Fabric, thread, button, zipper etc which have color size etc.. actually i want to know how can i create item structure ID, attribute ID for my material. It will very much helpful if you send me a some example for this IDs.

    Then you have to explain what is the Structure ID and Attribute ID in your company and howw it relates to an item. If you mention the word structure, I'm thinking of a hierarchy. Probably this is incorrect.
