Publishing in Production Environment

Hi everyone.. I have created some extensions in the sandbox environment using visual code and published it and its working properly.

But When I try to publish it in the production environment I am not being able to connect to the server its showing the error like this 5226.Error.jpg

Any info would be highly appreciated.

Its Saas service of business central cloud.

we have to upload the extension from "Extension Management" page in Production.

It is best practice to follow in Sandbox also

As Mohana said, the manual method is how it’s done for Per Tenant Extensions. The API doesn’t work for publishing from vs code for a production environment

You cannot install code from VS code to Production environment. You have to upload the app file through the Extension management page.

To deploy an extension to your cloud sandbox, you must publish an application from within Visual Studio Code. You can use the Ctrl+F5 or F5 keyboard shortcuts for this task.

To deploy an extension in the production environment, you need to either deploy your extension in Microsoft AppSource, or you can package your extension and upload it by using the Extension Management page.

Hi, as mentioned by the above experts, you have to use Upload Extension from Extension Management page in Production.

PS: Please note the Published As field.
