Route planning for sellers

Hi guys,

I am configuring a new environment and there is a requirement for route planning for the company sellers.

As far I know, there is nothing out of the box we can use, am I wrong?

If not, what would you suggest I look into, to implement the required functionality?

    I hope your requirement is fulfilled by now. But if you are still struggling, you must explore a software certified by Microsoft and easily available on the Microsoft AppSource called Maplytics.
    Planning helps in winning the battles!

    Similarly, a good plannable Route Optimization app is essential for being cost-effective, punctual, and responsible. Maplytics, the all-inclusive plugin for Dynamics 365 CRM and Dataverse is popular for being an efficient planner. The meetings that have been planned with the Auto Scheduling feature get optimized travel routes with turn-by-turn travel directions. The optimized routes are plotted to avoid traffic, tolls, and highways. The routes are flexible and can accommodate additional pitstops and client places.

    With routes so well planned and accommodating, the users especially the ones handling logistics and sales at an enterprise level become stress-free. They know the product deliveries are guided well and are following the shortest travel distance or time. Time isn’t wasted in searching for new addresses and locations. The deliveries are not lost in transit but are also tracked in Real Time by Maplytics.

    If the delivery van needs immediate attention, repair centers nearby can be plotted with Maplytics and the route can be re-designed automatically to reach it quickly.     Hello,

    Well, Route planning is mostly part of service based industries. I am not sure what is industry or requirement about route planning. Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service has out of box Route planning & routing requirements. You can go through following links to understand it for your use case.

    Hi partner,

    Sales does not have OOB Route planning feature.

    Some third-party programs can be integrated with D365 to implement Route planning.
