Is it possible to copy G/L and posting groups to another company?

Hi,
I want to create a new company in Business Central that should have the exact same G/L records, posting groups, vat settings etc. as an existing company (in the same environment). How can I do this?

I know there is an option to copy an existing company, but this also copies all of the data in the existing company (posted invoices etc.) and I do not want this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Personally, I also recommend using Configuration Packages, but if you need to challenge other functions, you can try Master data management.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Configuration packages gets my vote also. We have multiple companies and this is what we use to add records across all companies.

Thank you so much for your help. I wasn't aware of the configuration packages feature, but now I am :)

Configuration packages are the obvuous answer here.

I am a little bit surprised though that nobody refers to the Configuration Worksheet.
This will allow for the Copy Data from Company function: which is so much more performant than the tedious shifts with Excel-files.
