Trigger alerts in Business Central

I want to trigger alerts to specific users upon releasing and posting documents such as Purchase Order, Purchase Receipt and Purchase Invoice and also want to trigger alerts to a user when there are Overdue pending customer invoices. Is there any standard functionality in Business Central.

    You can support yourself by customizing some features such as the standard Business Central notifications, or use Power Automate for notifications as well. It is also important to identify the business events that allow you to identify these operations.

    For Document Events (e.g., Purchase Orders, Receipts, Invoices): Business Central doesn’t have a built-in feature specifically for alerting users directly upon releasing or posting documents out of the box. However, you can use Business Events combined with Power Automate to notify specific users when these documents are released or posted.

    For Overdue Invoices: There is no standard alert for overdue invoices. You can use Job Queues or Scheduled Tasks with custom code to check for overdue invoices and send notifications.
