Hi All,

In Visual Studio we can use code snippet to insert 'static' x++ code by pressing Ctrl+K Ctrl+X or context menu. But can we have something like 'scripts' in previous version AX2012 with access to AX metadata and generate code in runtime?

In which way I can create similar to https://community.dynamics.com/ax/b/daxmusings/archive/2012/02/18/code-snippets-in-ax-2012 functionality for AX7?

It's possible, but not with mere snippets. If you need something more complex, you have to create a Developer Tools Addin project.
