Hi, I and other user within my organisation want to create hyperlinks in emails sent via Dynamics 365 but there is no hyperlink button (see image). I haven't been able to figure out how to add it or even edit that ribbon.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Think you're missing the image. Are you trying to create an email template?

No, I'm emailing a reply to an enquiry using the "Open This Activity" button on the Activity pane.

I'm assuming you're not using the new Unified Interface which has an actual insert a link button but in the classic view, you just need to type a url, the receipients email client will know it's a link and display it as such.

The editor for composing emails in CRM provides limited functions for formatting text. In particular, there is no obvious way to insert hyperlinks.

However, you can insert a hyperlink by either writing the link in another application such as Outlook and copying the text into the CRM email or directly writing an HTML A tag as in the following example:

    <a href ="google.com">Click here</a>

refer following article for more information regarding this..

    Hi Partner

In case you are UCI APP, you can insert Hyperlink from the "Insert Link" button available in editor. Here is the screenshot for reference

If you are still using Web client version, then you can use this ink for reference community.dynamics.com/.../insert-hyperlink-in-email-email-template-or-articles

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering about the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+K) method on Internet Explorer. I tried the Chrome version (Ctrl+L) but it didn't work.

Does anyone know if there is a way of doing this on browsers other than Internet Explorer?

    Hi Partner

As suggested in my last post, you can use the UCI Interface which has the insert link button (Image in last post) in Email Text editor.
