How can I get the record counts of values selected in fields?

I have a substantial amount of case records where I want to see which values are selected the most frequently for 2 fields on it.

I can't use charts because there's too many records for it to render.  I am even getting an error trying to export the data.  Does anyone know a way I can find out how many selections there are for 2 different fields on here?

An SSRS Report is likely your easiest way to get to that data if you're having trouble getting it through the UI.

    Hi CRM Learner 8,

I would highly recommend looking at Microsoft Power BI.  Power BI does a great job with large datasets, I am working with one customer and one of the Order datasets has 2+ million records.  Overall you are able to create complex visualizations that all work together and react to selections.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

PowerBI is impressive as far as i have seen it and if it is in-depth analysis on the data then would recommend PowerBI as well.

But if you are looking for counts and your query can be configured in Advanced Find/Fetch XML then you may use the tool - "FetchXML record View Counter" in XRM Toolbox.

You may extract the FetchXML from Advanced Find and copy it in the tool.

    Hi,

Power BI is the good alternative in achieving this. You can fetch the case records in Power BI and get the count of how many times each value is selected.
