Has anyone encountered a problem with the search facility for inventory by name. When we bring up the items listing and filter by name with wildcard eg *laptop* we would expect the list to come up with all names containing laptop. However, this search seems to fail on occasion. We are using NAV2009 SP1

What's your definition of "Fail" it crashes or doesn't give you all the results you expect?
if you add the "@" symbol before like @*laptop* it should remove the case sensitive aspect of the search
Note: If I remember correctly the search name should be in all CAPS..
So are you saying *laptop* & *LAPTOP* give you different results?
