3rd Party Product Flag Distribution Combinations

Hey all,

I posted on here recently looking for a sql script to see transactions that use accounts that start with different characters. We are looking to prevent these transactions from happening. Does anyone know of any way or any third party products that you can use to flag transactions that use a specific combination of accounts before posting?

I am not aware of such a process available by default but hopefully alternate posters can provide more direction on 3rd party options that may be available for such use.

Hi Rebecca

This would be fairly easily created using the developer tools module of GP Power Tools.

You just need to decide what the business rules are for which transaction types. I would check the distributions on save rather than post.

Partners have access to free NFR Registration keys and customers can install activate a free 30 day trial period.

For this specific customization you will need a small bit of coding with the Developer Tools module. Assistance can be provided by support, or if more help is needed you can purchase some consulting time.
