Hello everyone

I am trying to export records from CRM 2013, but when the option "make available for re-import" is checked, I get the this error:

Insufficient Permission - You do not have access to theses records. Contact you system administrator.

Which security privileges do I need to have to accomplish this.

Thanks in advance

Can you download any log files?

    Hi Deepesh

No, there is no option to download any log file.

    I figured it out.

This security role privilege was needed to be set for the security role:

    • prvReadApplicationFile

Using the Diagnostic Tool for Dynamics CRM I enabled trace on the CRM server while trying to export with the re-import option selected. Analyzing the trace log revealed the missing privilege:

When I granted the Read access for Application File entity under Core Records tab for the security role, I was able to export to excel with re-import option selected.

Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> Microsoft.Crm.CrmException: Principal user (Id=565c1b65-f5de-e411-80d7-0050568c27e4, type=8) is missing prvReadApplicationFile privilege (Id=fafe8899-7c51-42c2-a8cb-8827eee87deb)
