Financial dimension Desuspended - Still Error is throwing as suspended in Journal entry for a particular FD Combo

There is a custom Financial Dimension as "Manual projects".One value within which was "General".It was suspended earlier as not wanted to be used by users.But for some reason I wanted to make it active for few transactions , hence i unticked the check box "Suspended" and tried to pass entry but still it was showing error message as "Financial Dimension "General" is suspended.But i observed that this error is only coming for a certain combination of financial dimension and not for others.Like , Main Account + FD1 (value) + FD2(value)+FD3 (value) only.If we change any of one of value (of any FD) and disturb combination, entry is through.

Hi, After changing the Setup (unticking the check box "suspended") have you updated your voucher? It might be the case that AX did not immediately get the information that the setup has been changed especially if you work in several different windows. In those cases, updating the voucher with F5 or re-entering the voucher usually helps.

Hi Jayakrishnan,

It might be related to caching. Have you tried to restart the AX client and/or the AOS server?

Ya..those were done..actually even for new vouchers particular FD combination is throwing error.

AX Cient was closed and open.But AOS Server not restarted.

No..problem is not solved..i am trying to get the application server restarted as per Mr.André Arnaud de Calavon's suggestion.

Hi all..Problem is solved :

I have made accounitng structure as draft and again activated it.(Did not restarted AOS).It is working fine.

My Observation of AX Behaviour in this matter is as follows:

Whenever we change any properties of any FD (if any unposted reversal entries with old accounting structure are there), the FD combination of that reversal entry will be stored by AX and old accounting structure rules will be applicable for all future entries containing that combination.This can be refreshed by restarting accounting structure.

If so, this is a Bug in AX 2012 R2.
