Hi,
I have to delete one item identification type record because it is not needed for us. But I can't able to find a way to delete. The delete button is greyed out on the record form. I tried to open identification types in Excel add-in but it doesn't show up there (only those types are loaded in excel which i added myself in system). "Alien/Admission" type was already present in default DAT company/LE. How can I delete permanently? I also removed the record from CDS but still it present in HR.

It is not possible to delete this one. There is a field called IsImmutable with the value 'yes' which prevents to have this record deleted. It was already the same with the HR core in Dynamics 365 F&O. The Alien/Admission is typical for the US, I think, but not meaningful in e.g. Europe.

Is there any way to at least rename or hide this option? This option is irrelevant to my organization and they really don't want to have it.

I would suggest to create a ticket for Microsoft Support. Due to the field IsImmutable which is set to yes, you can't change it as a business user.
