Bank Transfer between 3 Banks within the same legal entity

Hello team,

I am looking to set up daily bank transfers between 3 banks that are part of the same legal entity, with a predefined exchange rate that will remain the same. For example, I would like to transfer $1,000,000 from Bank #1 to Bank #2 with an exchange rate of 0.377, and then transfer the equivalent amount from Bank #2 to Bank #3 in the company's base currency.

I would like these transfers to occur on a daily basis. How can I do that?

I think you're looking at a customization. You might be able to use a Periodic journal with the Unit set to "Days" but there's no way I can think of to force the journal to use a Fixed exchange rate on a recurring basis.

You might also be able to setup a recurring data project, but would still need to store a source file somewhere for the project to pick up daily.

As Frank said, you may need to do custom development to meet your needs. You can also enlist the help of a Microsoft partner who can help you customize it: Find the right app | Microsoft AppSource.

Considering that you need to automate some tasks on a daily basis, you can consider batch jobs, refer to this official documentation: Create a batch job - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn. Or you can use Microsoft tools like Power Automate.
