FieldId is not deleting in TableFieldIdTable

Hi folks,

I have created an extension of table - TaxWithholdTrans_IN, added customized fields on it. Now I want to delete these fields so I have deleted these fields in the TaxWithholdTrans_IN.

But the error is coming in the below form as the fieldId is not deleted in TableFieldIdTable after doing full build and full sync

how can I delete the fieldId from table-TableFieldIdTable??

Thanks

If you deleted the extension, make sure you rebuild the model (not just the project). Then synchronize the database and if successful, the fields will be deleted from there too. If you still get a runtime error, it's caused by something else than than those fields not being deleted.

Your problem sounds more like a something caused by what data you have in DB, which you want fix by code compilation. I don't know these tables, but one wild guess is that the fields are mentioned in TaxTransactionInquiryTotalFields_IN.SelectedFieldId. Debugging the code will tell you more.

    Hi Martin,

In Tax Transaction Inquiry form, basically the fields are been loaded by System tableId and fieldId,

So when I debugged the code it is giving error in line 96 where SysDictField is null for Field Id 108 and TableId 8121.

As FieldId 108 is my customized fieldId which I have deleted but when I run select statement in DB for TableFieldIdTable, I can see that deleted fields are still present which causing the error in the form.

Although deleted fields are not showing in SqlDictionary table in SSMS

As suggested by you, I opened the table- TaxTransactionInquiryTotalFields_IN but its empty.

I think you're guessing instead of debugging. Look at where the value was taken from (that was used to create the current object).

    Hi,

    1. Make sure u deleted the fields from the table and form
    2. Do full build and Sync
    3. Restart IIS
    4. clear usage data
    5. Try again
