can any one explain all the posting types which are available in AX ,for example packing slip,packing slip off set,product receipt and product invetory receipt etc with respect to PURCHASE ORDER,SALES ORDER,INVENTORY,PRODUCTION,VARIANCE

    Hello,

    Some of these posting types are used for physical inventory (product receipt or packing slip), and others are used for financial inventory.

    The best way to understand them well is to fill these types with ledger accounts and make several POs and SOs and try to change the setup in the item model group.
