Hi,
i have an inventory item which is receiving as green beans and from this green beans i am producing two separate items one is filter coffee and other as espresso beans. i want to sold this produce items which are the filter coffee and espresso beans and i want the deduction of the green beans to be happen. How can i make it in the great plain application.
You should be able to use Manufacturing product for this. First bring in your green been into GP with an increase adjustment. Then you could make a Bill of Materials for filtered coffee (also an inventory item that needs to be created). On the bill of materials you could put the espresso beans (also an inventory item) and a "by product". So when you "make" the filter coffee you also end up with espresso beans.
