Customization View is not showing all views

Disclosure: I'm new to Dynamics, and I am inheriting this system.

Here is my problem:

I go to Customizations > Customize the System, then Entities > Contact > Views.

Here I can see a bunch of views that have been created. I make a new view, and after I save it I can't see it in the list of views in the settings. I can however see it from the user end in the Workplace when I change the view I can see the new one I created. I'm confused why I can't see it in the settings.

I can see the view in the settings if I go to disabled views and delete one of those. That solution works for now, until I run out of disabled ones to delete. What if in the future I need to edit one of the views but I can't see it in the list? I was wondering if anyone knows about this problem.

To clarify that last part, in the settings under active views it says at the bottom "1-49 of 49" and under "inactive views" it says  "1-31 of 31." When I delete one of those 31, it says 1-30 and if I go back to active views it says 1-50 and now shows one of the ones I created but could not see before. Anyone know anything about this? It's like I'm limited to seeing 80 views in the settings but not in the system. Thanks.

    Hi,

Are you suing an online org or on premise? The view you are creating is for any custom entity ? is it personal view?

We are on premise. And sorry I'm new at this but I think it is an entity called "Contact" and I am trying to see all the views inside that entity. They are public views
