D365 ER - Not able to populate data from temp tables in custom ER Report VendPaymAdviceReport

I have a custom template built for Vendor payment advice ER Report.  I have added fields to the tmp table BankPaymVendAdviceTmp table's extension, I created a derived config for data model, and model mapping. I created a format mapping and binded them . But the fields that i added wont show any data when i print the report.

What am i missing? Do we need to change the query associated with it? I am new to ER and wnat to understand if queries are involved in processing the report.

Thanks in advance

how the temp table is populated ? Through RDP class ? If RDP class is used to populate temp table ,do you see values when you debug RDP class ?

    Hi

Did you adjust the Model Mapping between the data source (where there are Data Provider and temporary table records declaration) and the Data Model ?.

If your temp Table is correctly set with a correct populate in the Data Provider class of your new fields, maybe it miss the binding of them from the Data Source provided by the Model Mapping.

You can open the design of your model mapping (if you create one) corresponding to your Report (component configuration) and check your new fields in the data source (tmp table or data provider method depending your implementation) and check the binding of your new fields with the data model (on the right of the form of the model mapping designer).

The format is communicating with the model, not directly with the datasource.

Yes, I did adjust the model mapping and i see the new fields under the temp table and they are binded to the datamodel on the right in the designer... Also i debugged and the data is being inserted in the temporary table too... But cant see the data on the report...

    Hi Raga,

My knowledge is that tmp tables / table records are currently not supported through ER.

You would have to create a new class/table if you want to retrieve those data through ER.

    Best regards,
