Hi All,
I am have put unit security on reporting units user wise however if I am sharing link with respective user (Who have access to one of reporting unit). When user click on link the report gives following error. All users have access for MR as Designer and they have been assigned duties and privileges related to Management Reporter,
Anyone has seen this issue before?
Hi All,
I got the resolution finally. Issue was related to link for report being shared with different department head. The end number for report link needs to be removed while sharing link as it vaires for each user and depends on access level as well.
once we remove last 4 digits it works fine for every user.

Let me try the reset usage data and check it.
Additionally when i remove the unit security from reporting tree then user is able to see the report. If its cache issue then it should not work even with all rights as well (as per my opinion).

As you already mentioned that security privilege is same and applied for all users, then I assume there is no challenge from security perspective.
However, please reset the usage data for those users and then check if this time they are able to view the report.
In addition, also please check in below areas and let us know how such reports are getting generated in system.
1) Is there any data available in that month or date of that month when users are generating this report?
2) Did you try to generate this report freshly and not by viewing it by selecting an already generated report in the 'Financial reports' form?
3) Did you try to generate the report by removing the reporting tree?
What setup you have done in the reporting tree?
Appreciate if you kindly share any screen shots of what you have selected in the report definition before generation the report and set up what you have done in the reporting tree?

Hi Mr. Ludwig,
I am having issue now with certain users some of users can see in same department (finance) and some are having the same error as shown above.
Security roles assigned in Dynamics to all users are same however few can see the report and few have same error.
Any idea on exactly what can be the issue?

I feel initially i was getting this issue becoz of reporting tree creation. I have made sub units due to which system was not reading access at child level as i used indent to make departments child. If i keep them at one level i feel it wl work fine. Only i need to check if security permissions through dynamics are enough? Do i require to give financial controller full role or certain privileges will also work?
Hello Hazeel,
I wonder if this report contains some data at all.
That is, if you remove the unit security and run the same report with the same (period) parameters, do you see an outcome?
