No record found.
I have created a new view and it is of type public but when I search some record in that view it switched to another view of type search.
We want to search in the current view.
We are using Dynamics 2016.
Hello @Mahmood,
All the entities have an specific view to search records, if you want to search within that view you need to modify the search view.( I suggest to make the changes on the search view, other wise this is by design.
that's why the system changes the view.
As per Esteban's answer, you should go to "Quick Find View" to update it for the search view
So, after open it, you can update the view field by click on "Add view columns", to reach your data wanted in the search view
Thats Out of the box behaviour.
Solution:
Go to customization --> default solution--> your entity --> views --> quick find view.
Open it and in the right pane you have options to 'Add view columns' and many more to set width and sorting etc.
Hope this helps!!!
