Cloud Application Proxy Authentification AX 2012 R3

Hi community,

a customer wants to use a cloud application proxy authentification (Azure AD Application Proxy) for his AX 2012 R3.

Currently I am not sure if this is supported. 

If found this link for D365 F&O on premises: Possible to use application proxy with deployment on-premises Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations? · Issue #54732 · MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs · GitHub

Can someone confirm if this is also possble for AX 2012?
