When PO invoice is rejected can we send email notification to vendor

We have a business requirement:

When PO invoice is submitted by vendor from vendor collaboration portal.

Workflow will trigger to user based on DOA. when the user rejected the PO invoice. can we send email notification to vendor using workflow notification?

I tried standard option available in workflow configuration Workflow origin and workflow owner in either case system is not triggering Rejected email to vendor email id.

Please let us know how to achieve this email functionality to vendor email id.

    Hello,

    This is not possible, the workflow sends emails only to the participants of the workflow and it is not possible to include vendor's email as participant.

    Hi

    You could consider to use PowerAutomate for this task. Process could look like this:

    a) configure a changebased alert, which get triggered, when invoice was rejected

    b) create powerautomate-Flow, which is triggered by BusinessEvent 'Changebased Alerts'

    c) Most probably you will be able to catch any invoice-information from the BusinessEvent and you can fetch contactdata (e-mail) from related vendor (not sure about)

    d) send e-mail

    Not really straight forward, but this is the idea to close such Gaps by using PowerApp-Plattform.
