General ledger journal not being posted.

Hello!

We have a weird situation going on.

We have created some bookings in General ledger - Journal vouchers and the problems is that we cannot post them. The ''Post'' button is active and when we try to post it it says ''Operation completed'' but we cannot find the booking in Trial balance and the voucher is not being locked.

Do you have any suggestions why is that and how we can resolve it?

Hi Veselina,

Can you tell us of the journal header is set to posted? Or did you use the post with transfer errors to a new journal option and all lines are now in a new journal header?

Hello André,

I suppose you are asking if this is set to posted, but it's not:

What we've done is to click Validate > Simulate posting, then message pops up saying '' Operation completed ''. Then click on only Post and again the same message, but the voucher is not being posted.

Is there any entry in the History tab of the journal? Could you post a screenshot of the journal name setup?

Hello,

Something he does this for a problem of financial dimension.

Can you try to check if the combinations of the main account and financial dimension are coherently configured based on the journal entry?

Did you resolve this Veselina Traykova? We get this same error in uat in version 10.0.41 testing. Cannot find any way around it..
