Chart of accounts excel export

Hi all!

Regarding the page export to excel function on NAV 2013R2, when I export the chart of accounts page (#16 in Dev't. Environment) all the formatting of the columns is fine except for one which is the G/L No., Excel appears to format this as a text column, I need it to export as numerical by default...Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction for modifying the formatting?  I understand this can easily be done in excel, would be nice to have it export like this automatically though.

Thank you!!!

Paul

Have you tried to trace the code that's being executed when you run the Export to Excel function from the page? You might be able to capture where NAV is pulling the export template (whether it's an external file, or if it's embedded in a NAV Object), and then try to change it from there.

I hope this helps. If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"
