Anyone help, I need to setup sick leave.
30 days in a 3year cycle. Any ideas

Thank you for your question - have you taken a look at this documentation yet, or been able to create the leave type (which in this case would be a new type for 'sick leave')?

For setting up Sick Leave, please follow the steps which Shenk had suggested to create Leave Type.
Steps to be followed:
Step1: Create Leave Type as 'Sick Leave'
Step2: Create a Leave Plan as 'Sick Leave', configure all the mandatory information (can refer to below screen print) then go to step 3.
Step3: Under the Accrual Schedule grid, follow the second screenprint.
Step4: Assign the Sick Leave to employees
Once you complete the setup, do run one cycle and test.

The sick leave criteria is as follows:
1. 30 days per 3 year cycle.
From the date of appointment the employee has 30days he/she can use over a 3 year period.
What I am battling with and I cant see anyway to do it. is to give the employee the 30 days up front.
Hi Craig,
You can configure as per your need, please configure as per the below screen print. Once the employee completes more than 3 years he/she will get a leave balance as ZERO until 36 months i.e. 3 years they will be entitled to 30 days upfront.

We can grant the 30 Days, it will take initial 30 days when we enroll in the leave plan.
