Want to hide this tile for a group of Employees from HR - Employee Self Service page
Form name : EssWorkspace , ControlName : Workerinfo ; ControlName : AttachmentContent - AttachmentsActionPane
Hi D365,
Try setting the Needed permission property on the control to Manual and then add that control to related security privilege and check.
Thanks,
Girish S.
Hi D365FinOpsTech,
Each tile has a linked menu item. You can check which privilege is currently providing access to this menu item. You can then create a copy of this privilege and remove the menu item reference. Another approach could be setting deny permissions for this menu item, however, that would have an impact that the tile will never be visible to the user, even if he has other roles with access permissions.
I would not suggest using the option to set the property NeededPermission to manual as this can be done without a form extension and just with the menu item permissions via privileges.
