Registering an asset in Dynamics

Hi,

I have recently set up an IoT hub to use with my Dynamics instance. I've been registering a new device for 2 hours now and i was wondering if anyone knew how long this should normally take?

If it takes a while then fair enough i can wait, but if it should be pretty quick then does anyone have any idea as to why it could be?

Appreciate this involves Azure and IoT Hub, but my issue is in Dynamics it seems.

Hi Carsten,

No, none. My devices are called TempSense1, TempSense2, uTemp and uTemp 2. I was only using the remote monitoring example to get going but as i say the devices seem to hang when registering in Dynamics. Granted i have tried to re-add them since as i've been working on another project.

Any Special character you´ve used in the device id?

Hi Carsten,

Yeah i have that installed. I can see the IoT hub in Dynamics and have the dashboards and options to register my new assets. They just hang during the registration process.
