Retail POS "payments have not been setup"

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

On cashiers payment operation the POS Shows an error message "Cash payments have not been setup." (and also for all other Payment Methods).
The payment methods are correct defined for the store and distributed to the POS-channel-database and also the POS-register-offline-database (ax.RETAILSTORETENDERTYPETABLE). (The content is equal to AX 2012 R3 Demo-VM.)
How I can find a solution?

The payments are not assigned to the payment button in the POS layout. Right click on the payment button --> Button properties --> Select payment operation.

Sumit, can you be specific where to locate the Payment button in POS? Do you mean Screen layout or POS layout?

I am facing following error on EPOS, while using 'Customer Account Payment'.

"Customer Payment Method has not been setup"

this issue is appearing on few customers, while rest of transactions with account payments are working fine.

    We are using AX 2012 R3 CU10

    Solution:

This is a code suggestion to do this in your environment:

    --- using AX HQ database----

    select * from dbo.RETAILCUSTTABLE where NONCHARGABLEACCOUNT=1

    update dbo.RETAILCUSTTABLE set  NONCHARGABLEACCOUNT=0 where  NONCHARGABLEACCOUNT=1

--- Then Run customer job to replicate the data to store ---

Did you find a solution? Recently experienced this on some customers only. For other customers working ok.
