vendor and general posting group sales

i want to post an entry with both expenses and income and finally credit a vendor.

i get an error because general posting group for income is sales and canot be combined with vendor

when i use the same vendor as a customer a get the oposite error(general psting type purchase)

hot can i solve this. canot leave general posting group blank because of vat.

    Look at the field general posting type - do not leave it blank, other entries on teh journal are insisting you define the general posting type, so fill it in, or understand the entries forcing the entry.
