Unit of measure in sales price trade agreement

Can anyone comment on this scenario?  I have an item with sales unit of measure in Ft.  the standard ax unit conversion has 1 Yd = 3 ft.  I enter a sales price trade agreement where 1 Ft is $1.00.  I then enter a sales order for 1 Yd.  expecting to get a price of $3.00 but I do not get a price.    If I enter the SO in Ft. I get my price.  If I set up my trade agreement in Ft. and Yd. I get prices.  Must I enter my trade agreements for all possible sales units of measure?

    Hi Jeff,

Yes indeed the trade agreements are "Unit sensitive". You can either enter the prices for each unit or create a small customization.

Normally when you buy a box the price will be a bit lower. When you want to build the customization, you can first look at the Unit on the line, if not found take the standard sales unit and use the Unit conversion (item soecific or generic) to calculate the price.

I had a customer in the past with the same requirement and this customization helped him.

    Dear Andre

I create Product master(CALCULATOR) with following setup

    1. Use Company USMF (Demo Data)

    2. Product master

    4. Product dimension Group :- Config

    5. Storage Dimension ;- Ware

    6. Tracking Dimension :- None

    7. Reservation Hierarchy;- Default

    8. Unit Sequence Group Id :- 10 Pcs = 1 Box(Make Conversion)

    9. Item Model Group :FIFO

    10. Create SALE/PURCHASE tread Agreement

    11. Barcode setup

this setup works fine in demo data but not in my setup data.......!!!! advise what i m missing

    Hi Vijay,

Is this question related to the unit of measure and trade agreements? What do you mean with "it is working in demo data but not my setup data"? What exactly is not working? What setup has been done in your environment? You did not specify that. As this question has been set to status answered already, probably you can better create a new post on this forum. Then also more people will open the post and possibly try to answer your question.

I am facing problem ....when i am creating sale order i am not able to change item unit, its takes default unit.

lets say i purchase any item in box and want to sale in pcs but item unit not change, i did unit conversion, that work fine and hit inventory in pcs.......
