Dynamics AX 2012 R3 RTM Update

Hello All,

I just want to ask someting about updating Dynamix AX 2012. We have the Dynamics AX 2012 R3 RTM (build 6.3.164.0) and we want to update it. If we want to update into Cumulative 9 (for example), can we just install the CU9 or we must install the CU8 before the CU9?

    Hello Bonggal,

    A cumulative update (CU) is an update that contains all previous hotfixes to date. Only the most recent one needs to be applied. In your case just apply CU9 and no need to install CU8 first.

    Make sure you install in your test environment first and test all functionality before applying it to your production environment.
