How to tell if you instance has Advanced Warehousing turned on

I have only been at my current company a few months and I have been told all along that we do not have Advanced Warehousing included in our license. I think that is not correct. If I go into our test environment and start turning on directed Pick and Put-away, Require Receipts they work. Also the warehouse cannot go negative. I was always under the impression that those were some of the advanced warehouse functions. Please correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like it is working. Also Code unit 7302 WMS Management is present. Is there a way to tell in the license file if Advanced Warehousing is available or on?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Troy

    Hello,

Please check your setups on your locations. The settings you are referring to are what determines if the location is using advanced warehousing. I attached an image below for a setup of one of our locations that uses advanced warehousing. I believe if you do picks and put aways, then you can not do the inventory picks and put away which are the directs.

Also, in the Inventory Setup, Prevent Negative inventory acts globally, but if you turn that off, having bin mandatory on the location acts the same way (Bins can not go negative). This way you can have a location that can go negative if needed. (We do this so that we can sell product if found, but isnt in the system.)

Here is a link to a very useful document on understanding the setups:

If this answer helps please verify it.

    Thanks!

There's no direct way to figure out this, you need to go to location card and see the related setups of Pick and Put away and related areas.
